Boxcryptor has stopped working

I have run into a problem where the program is constantly stopping before it even starts up. This happens during boot, as well as while the computer is running I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling but I cannot seem to get it to work. What else can I check?

Tried to create log but program fails immediately and as a result, the log comes up empty.

Thanks for your Info. It's the correct .Net Version. Concerning the uninstalling, have you uninstalled it with our uninstaller? Did it suddenly stopped working?

Yes, I used your uninstaller. I haven't used the computer recently (i.e past 30 days or more) and the program was definitely working the last time that I used it. Perhaps the problem is attributable to an update? In any event, I just sent a separate email with the details of the error message.

Problem Solved! I uninstalled again from the program. After that I rebooted. After the reboot, I ran programs and features from the control panel to see if I could repair the .Net file. As it turned out, there is an option to do that but you need to select uninstall from the Windows menu first. Once that is done, it allows you to run the repair.

Once the repair completed, I restarted the computer again (which it requires you to do anyway). After that, I reinstalled Boxcryptor one more time and it worked fine!

Problem solved.
